Yearling Angus calves
Longs Farm and Nursery currently maintains around a one hundred head commercial cow/calf herd utilizing pure bred Angus bulls. The primarily black and black/white face herd is split into three smaller groups with some calving in the spring and some in the fall. The cows and the calves are exclusively grass fed. With over one hundred acres committed to producing quality hay along with access to adequate water and year round pasture, the calves usually "top the market" when sold.
